Cedric Mizero represented Rwanda for the first time in history of the International Fashion Showcase (IFS) among 16 designers selected from 16 different countries in the world. His personal installation Dreaming My Memory was showcased together with the work developed by all selected designers at the historical Sommerset House from 11 to 24 February 2019 under the exhibition title Brave New Worlds: The Changing Landscape of Fashion.

Dreaming My Memory by Cedric Mizero brings forth and binds together Mizero's memories of growing up in the village of Gishoma. In his dreams these memories blur with his artisanal knowledge to retell past events into contemporary narratives. By sharing his memories, Cedric invites everyone to live the experiences of rural people and follow the imagined narrative through otherwise ordinary objects.

Cedric Mizero was awarded a Special Mention to Curation for his work during the International Fashion Showcase in February 2019.
